Thanks to the generosity of Australians, Future Ukraine has delivered generators and power stations to schools across Ukraine — keeping classrooms running, kitchens working, and children learning through blackouts and bombardment.
Delivery 1 - Generator, Odesa Oblast
In response to an urgent request, Future Ukraine and AFUO raised funds, sourced and serviced a generator, and delivered it to a school in Odesa Oblast — allowing classes to continue uninterrupted through power outages. "Thanks to Australians on the other side of the planet, we were able to raise funds in a very short time frame, service the generator, and deliver it," said the school's representative upon receiving it.
Delivery 2 - Generator, Odesa Oblast
A generator was delivered to a lyceum in Odesa Oblast, where blackouts of three to six hours had been forcing students into bomb shelters with flashlights. The generator now powers the kitchen and ensures uninterrupted education — and stands as a tribute to a teacher from the school, callsign "Physicist," who was killed defending Avdiivka.
Clarification regarding the “Warmth for Ukraine” generator videos from Odesa Oblast
Some viewers have noticed that the same 55kW generator appears in two different thank-you videos on social media, and asked whether this means one generator was presented as two separate donations. It was not.
It was one smaller generator, relocated from one school to another as a larger unit became available. Here is the full sequence of events:
When the first “Warmth for Ukraine” funds were raised, Future Ukraine purchased and delivered a 55kW generator to a larger school in Odesa Oblast so that it could immediately restore essential power while the fundraising campaign continued. At that stage, we did not know how many donations would ultimately be received or how many schools we would be able to support.
As the campaign exceeded expectations, we were able to purchase a larger 165kW generator, which was better suited to the larger school's electricity requirements. Once the 165kW generator was installed, the original 55kW generator was relocated to a second, smaller school in Odesa Oblast where it continues to provide backup power.
The thank-you videos were recorded at different stages of this process. As a result, the same 55kW generator appears in both videos:
- Video 1: the 55kW generator at the larger school, before the 165kW generator arrived.
- Video 2: the same 55kW generator after it had been relocated to the smaller school, once the bigger school had been upgraded.
The videos did not explain this sequence of events, which unfortunately caused confusion. We apologise for that.
At no stage was the same generator claimed as two separate purchases. The larger school ultimately received the new 165kW generator, while the smaller school received the relocated 55kW generator, allowing Future Ukraine to provide reliable backup power to two schools instead of one.

Delivery 3 - EcoFlow Power Stations, Cherkasy Oblast
Power support reached its third school and second region with the handover of EcoFlow power stations to a school in Cherkasy Oblast. The stations are a critical solution for keeping classes running through air raid alarms and blackouts — students, teachers and parents extended their thanks to Australian donors and Future Ukraine.
Delivery 4 - Generator, Sumy Oblast
In Sumy — one of the cities most exposed to russian aerial attacks — Future Ukraine delivered a generator to a local school. Despite the wartime conditions facing the city, students will continue their education uninterrupted thanks to Australian support.
Delivery 5 - Generator, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
Future Ukraine co-founder and director Kateryna was on the ground to hand over a generator to the campaign’s fifth school, in the Dnipropetrovsk region — replacing the low-capacity unit the school had been relying on. “For us, this is a symbol of hope. This support shows that nobody has forgotten about us,” the school said on receiving it.
Delivery 6 — Heater, Kyiv
A heater was delivered to a music school in Kyiv, funded through a fundraising concert organised in Canberra by Alexandra Sidorenko. "We are very grateful to Future Ukraine for this heater, which will provide us with the warmest moments during very cold winters," the school said on receiving it.
Delivery 7 — Charging Station, Kyiv
A charging station was delivered to a second Kyiv music school through the same Canberra fundraising initiative by Alexandra Sidorenko. "Your help is invaluable to our team. Thanks to you, our organ class will now be able to operate without interruptions," the school said.
Delivery 8 — Battery Panel, Kyiv
A battery panel was delivered to a Kyiv music school, again funded through Alexandra Sidorenko's Canberra concert. "Your help is not just a technical solution to our problems. It is a contribution to preserving children's dreams, to the development of arts education, and to the cultural future of our Ukraine," the school said.
Delivery 9 — EcoFlow Power Stations, Chernihiv Oblast
Two EcoFlow power stations were delivered to a school in the Chernihiv region, funded through a Canberra half marathon run in support of the campaign by Ukraine's Ambassador to Australia, Vasyl Myroshnychenko. The stations help students and teachers continue learning through the power outages driven by russia's attacks on Ukraine's energy grid.
Delivery 10 — Generator, Sumy Oblast
A generator was delivered to a school in the Sumy region — near the russian border — through the Canberra half marathon initiative, which drew fundraising support from Ukraine's Ambassador Vasyl Myroshnychenko, Finland's Ambassador Arto Haapea, ASPI's David Wroe and other diplomats. The request came via the Olena Zelenska Foundation, which identified the school's need for reliable backup power in a community living with the daily reality of russian attacks near the border.
Delivery 11 — EcoFlow Power Station, Animal Shelter, Odesa Oblast
An EcoFlow power station was delivered to ‘Club Hvostyky’, a volunteer animal rescue project in Odesa Oblast that cares for stray and abandoned animals through a network of foster homes. The delivery was funded through a charity screening of "Animals in War" at the Parliament of NSW, with support from the Ukrainian Council of NSW.
